Raised in Eagle River, Alaska, Laura fled the cold and attended I.E. University in Madrid, Spain, for her undergraduate education. She graduated in 2022 with a Dual Degree in Business Administration and Laws (BBA., LL.B.) After her undergraduate education, she received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The University of California, Berkeley. Laura was sworn in as a California Attorney in December of 2025.

Laura learned Spanish studying and working in Spain. In California, she has worked in Spanish as a fellow at East Bay Sanctuary Covenant in the Bay Area and in volunteer work here in San Diego. She currently uses Spanish in her personal and professional lives.

Though not originally from California, Laura is a proud to call California home. She loves supporting San Diegans in matters including dissolution of marriage, child custody and visitation, child support, and domestic violence restraining orders.
