Cody Frohman
Associate Attorney
Cody is a San Diego native, who returns to San Diego to practice law, after ten years away in Texas, Colorado, and Missouri. He attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas for his undergraduate studies. While at the University of Missouri—Kansas City School of Law, Cody was honored to be chosen as staff for the UMKC Law Review and he won an American Jurisprudence Award. Cold winters and uncomfortable weather in these other states, prompted Cody to head back to his roots in San Diego.
Cody is licensed in both California and Missouri and made the switch to family law after starting his career in civil and business litigation. While he was in his civil litigation practice, Cody helped with several multi-week jury trials, resulting in multiple positive, multi-million-dollar verdicts.
In his family law matters, Cody advocates for individuals and families. He handles a variety of cases including dissolution of marriage, child custody and visitation, child support, and domestic violence restraining orders. Growing up with two Deaf parents led to Cody becoming fluent in American Sign Language; he is one of a handful of lawyers in the San Diego area who are fluent in ASL. Cody handles each case with compassion, empathy, and a belief that each case should be treated uniquely to fit the needs of that client.
